ReplyDeleteMy favorite place for hunting down new recipes to try at the moment is in the pages of several World War 2 era cookbooks I was just given.
ReplyDeleteMy husbands favorite place for recipes is the food network channels.
ReplyDeleteI love food network and allrecipes. com . I would watch food shows all day :)
ReplyDeleteOver the last 50+ years I have gathered together a great collection of cookbooks. I find myself thumbing through these - just like novels - almost everyday. I love cookbooks! They are the source of most of my inspiration. However, the food channels on cable have begun to take up a lot of my viewing time, lol. Thanks for the opportunity to add these great books to my reading list.
ReplyDeleteI have a folder that has family recipes in it that I refer to often. I also search the web, usually more common sites like food network, etc.
ReplyDeleteI just google what I am looking for. Then I end up at Epicurious, Simply Recipes or Food Network.
ReplyDeleteI love hunting down recipes on the internet.
ReplyDeletea mix between pinterest and blogs!

If it's a recipe using a specific ingredient I search the food blogs I follow (Punk Domestics, Well Preserved, Food In Jars, Coco & Me, David Lebovich). If I can't find it there, I hit up Martha Stewart or Pinterest. If I'm looking for a specific type of recipe I head over to BBC Food (on their main website) or Google it. I may also skim, or leave messages on, the FB pages under my 'growing' interest list. Recipes that I've already used are in my cookbooks. (I said 'hi' over on FB under Jonquil Alexia) Also signed up for your newsletter (jonquilsgrdn. etc, etc)
ReplyDeleteI love finding recipes on blogs. This way I can see what it REALLY looks like and I can read about any issues the cook ran into or how fabulous it came out :D
ReplyDeleteI love looking for recipes on blogs!
ReplyDeleteFirst I'll look through my recipes bookmark folders - as I come across recipes that look good on blogs, etc., I bookmark them in folders for each category such as chocolate cookies. If I don't find what I want in my bookmarks, I usually google it and see what I get. Smitten Kitchen is my favorite food blog.
ReplyDeleteI hunt for recipes on allrecipes.com!
ReplyDeleteI use a lot of blogs. I use google reader to search the blogs I follow for recent recipes

ReplyDeleteGoogle... and wherever the results take me. I usually look at the first five sites to come up and see if they fit the bill for what i want to make - digging deeper if there are still things I want to know before attempting to make something.
ReplyDeleteI love TasteSpotting for new recipes & finding new food blogs. SmilynStef at aol dot com

ReplyDeleteI usually do a Google search first but I always seem to land on someone's amazing blog that has recipes and photos and I compare them to some of my favorite cook book recipes ...then I tweak it enough to call it my own, lol. Thanks for this great giveaway!
ReplyDeleteMy source of inspiration would be magazines, Pinterest and blogs.
ReplyDeleteI follow you by email! :)
